Frank George Carpenter (naskiĝis la 18-an de junio 1855 en Mansfield, Ohio, mortis la 8-an de majo 1924 en Nankino,[1][2]) estis aŭtoro, fotisto, preleganto, kolektanto de fotoj. Carpenter estis verkisto de standardaj geografiaj libroj kaj preleganto pri geografio, kaj verkis serion de libroj nome Carpenter's World Travels kiuj estis tre popularaj inter 1915 kaj 1930.

Kun sisa filino Frances, Carpenter fotis en Alasko inter 1910 kaj 1924. Kolekto de ĉirkaŭ 5,000 bildoj estis donacitaj al la Kongresa Biblioteko[3] de Frances je sia morto en 1972. La kolekto ĉe la Kongresa Biblioteko totalas proksimume 16,800 fotoj kaj ĉirkaŭ 7,000 negativoj.[4]
