Sinjoro David Frederick Attenborough (naskiĝis la 8-an de majo 1926 en Londono) estas dokument-filmisto pri bestoj, natura historio kaj antropologio.

Edukado kaj fruaj jaroj

Attenborough lernis ĉe „Wyggeston Grammar School for Boys” en Leicester kaj poste en „Clare College”, Universitato de Kembriĝo, kie li akiris sciencan gradon en naturaj sciencoj.

Li alpaŝis la Reĝan mararmeon en 1947 kaj post dujara servo, li laboris en publikiga kompanio, poste ĉe BBC en 1952. Li laboro pri naturaj aferoj komenciĝis en 1954 kun la serio Zoo Quest.

Ekde 1965 ĝis 1968, Attenborough estis kontrolisto de BBC2. Ekde 1969 ĝis 1972, li estis Televida Direktoro de BBC pri Programoj (respondecante pri ambaŭ BBC1 kaj BBC2. En 1972, li rezignis la postenon kaj reiris al programprodukto.
