«Прямоугольное полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее композицию герба Красночетайского сельского поселения в красном, синем, жёлтом и белом цветах».

Описание герба гласит: «В червлёном поле с главой, покрытой поставленными в столб и наложенными друг на друга лазоревыми, нитевидно окаймлёнными золотом и с золотыми прожилками, дубовыми листами, взнузданный вздыбленный серебряный крылатый конь, которого удерживает за узду сообращённый с ним, расположенный поверх всего золотой витязь в чувашском облачении, с червлёными буйными волосами и бородой».
