The end station and turning circle of the overland Thüringerwaldbahn from Gotha to Tabarz. An attractive painted mural had been recently applied to the end wall of the terminus in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the route. (No 4) The trio of trams depicited next to the map show a Blue Gotha town Tatra KT4D, a cream and red articulated Gotha wagon and finally the preserved motor car which was kept in the depot for special occasions. One of the articulated Gotha trams and a trailer (2 rooms and a bath) wait for the return journey back to Gotha Bahnhof. Trailer no 72 is apparent. Seven of the B4-62 trailers were in use in Gotha, numbered 70-76 dating from 1967-9. Seen elsewhere in my stream from a different angle, and on slide film |
