Leonhard Hess Stejneger
Leonhard Hess Stejneger (30a Oktobro 1851 - 28a Februaro 1943) estis norvegdevena usona ornitologo, herpetologo kaj zoologo. Stejneger specializiĝis en studoj de natura historio pri vertebruloj. Li akiris grandan reputacion pri reptilioj kaj amfibioj.[1]
Stejneger publikis pli ol 400 sciencajn verkojn pri birdoj, reptilioj, fokoj, herpetologio de Porto-Riko, kaj aliaj temoj.
