K. K. Neelakantan (1923 - 14a de Junio, 1992), plibone konata per sia plumonomo Induchoodan, estis grava barata ornitologo. Li estis amplekse konsiderata kiel pioniro en la pormedis movado en sia hejma ŝtato de Keralo.

Neelakantan naskiĝis en 1923 en tamila brahma familio en Kavaseri, vilaĝo en distrikto Palakado. Ĉar lia patro estis veterinaro ĉe Misore, lia komenca lernejo estis en Ĉitradurga. La resto de lia instruado estos farata en kvin diversaj lernejoj ĉe Malabar. Li studis en mezlernejoj de kristana lernejo de Kalikuto kaj bakalaŭron kaj anglan literaturon en Ĉenajo (1941–44).

Estas priskriboj kaj ilustracioj de 261 birds troviĝantaj en Keralo, pro kio ĝi estas konsiderata unika verko en barata lingvo. Kolekto de eseoj pri medio, birdumado kaj birdoj titola Pullu Thottu Poonara Vare ricevis premion de la Ŝtata Departamento de Scienco, Teknologio kaj Medio por populara sciencoverkado.
