Paul Austin JOHNSGARD (n. 28an de junio 1931 - 28-an de majo 2021) estis ornitologo, artisto kaj emerita profesoro ĉe la Universitato de Nebrasko. Liaj verkoj inkludas preskaŭ 50 librojn inklude kelkajn monografiojn, ĉefe pri akvobirdoj kaj gruoj. Li naskiĝis en Fargo (Norda Dakoto), kaj interesiĝis al studado de birdoj el parenco ĉasgardisto.
