Braj Basi Lal (2a de Majo 1921[1]), plej bone konata kiel B. B. Lal, estas barata arkeologo.[2]

Li estis la Ĝenerala Direktoro de Arĥeologia Servo de Barato (Archaeological Survey of India, ASI) el 1968 ĝis 1972 kaj Direktoro de la Barata Instituto de Progresa Studado. Lal servis ankaŭ en variaj komitatoj de UNESKO.[3] Liaj lastaj publikaĵoj estis kritikitaj pro sia historia reviziismo,[4][5][6][7] kun polemika[8][9][7][10] interveno en la afero de la detruo de la moskeo de Ajodjo, kiam li asertis, ke li estis trovinta la restaĵojn de kolonhava Hindua templo sub la poste detruita moskeo Babri.[9][4][11]
