Siro John GIELGUD (la 14-an de aprilo 1904 - la 21-an de majo 2000) estis angla filma kaj teatra aktoro, unu el la ĉefaj teatraj aktoroj de sia tempo. Gielgud estas unu el la solaj homoj kiuj ricevis Emmy, Grammy, Oskar kaj Tony, nome ĉiujn ĉefajn premiojn de usona distrindustrio.

John Gielgud naskiĝis en South Kensington, Londono, kaj estas nevo de la angla teatra aktorino Ellen Terry. Li estas diplomiĝinto de RADA ("Reĝa Brita Akademio de Arto"), kaj liaj debutoj en la teatro estis en klasikaj roloj [1].
