Grady TATE (naskiĝis la 14-an de januaro 1932 en Durham/Norda Karolino) estas usona kantisto kaj frapinstrumentisto de ĵazo.

Tate studis de 1955 ĝis 1959 ĉe la Nord-Karolina Centra Universitato anglan literaturon kaj psikologion. Li instruis en Vaŝingtono anglan lingvon kaj paroladon kaj studis ekde 1963 ĉe la Usona Akademio de Dramaj Artoj en Novjorko. Kiel frapinstrumentisto li akompanis muzikistojn kiel Quincy Jones, Jimmy Smith, Lionel Hampton, Stan Getz, Pearl Bailey, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Della Reese, Sarah Vaughan, Michel Legrand, Lalo Schifrin, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Wes Montgomery, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Charles Aznavour kaj André Previn. En 1976 li kunverkis la unuan albumon Hope de Jiggs Whigham kune kun Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. En 1973 kaj 1979 li estis nomumita kiel „plej bona virkantisto de popularmuziko“ por premio Grammy. Ekde 1989 li instruas ĉe Universitato Howard.
Tate apartenas krom Billy Higgins, Steve Gadd kaj Peter Erskine al la plej ofte surdiskigitaj frapinstrumentistoj. La nombro de diskoj, kiujn li kunverkis, sumiĝis proksimume je 700.
